PARDONS HAPPENED,
BUT NOW WHAT?

President Trump’s pardons on January 20, 2025, freed January 6th defendants from criminal legal consequences, but they didn’t erase the trauma, stigma, or barriers they face.

A pardon doesn’t restore mental health, family ties, or livelihoods.

We’re stepping in to fill that gap.

Stand in the Gap empowers former January 6th defendants to overcome trauma, rebuild relationships, and restore their futures. HEALTH & WELLNESS RETREAT

The isolation of solitary confinement and emotional disconnection from loved ones have left many former January 6th defendants grappling with profound trauma and fractured relationships. Our Health & Wellness Retreat offers a transformative experience, blending therapeutic workshops, mindfulness practices, and community-building activities to spark healing. Held in a serene, supportive environment, this retreat helps participants reconnect with themselves and others, fostering resilience and self-discovery. It’s a pivotal step toward becoming whole again, equipping defendants to navigate their wellness journey with renewed purpose.

PEER SUPPORT GROUP

Former January 6th defendants often suffer in silence, feeling isolated by the stigma and challenges of their experiences. Our private Peer Support Group provides a confidential virtual sanctuary where participants can openly share their struggles and triumphs with others who understand. This tailored group fosters deep connections, allowing members to lean on one another for emotional support and practical advice. Through weekly discussions, they find strength and solidarity, walking the path to healing together.
