Before January 6th, many were unaware of the systemic problems that plagued our justice system. The treatment of the January 6th defendants, as well as their families and advocates, exposed the harsh realities and injustices that had persisted for far too long. It became painfully clear that a system designed to uphold justice was, in many cases, failing those it was meant to protect.

At Stand in the Gap we recognized the urgency of addressing these pressing issues, of providing tangible support to individuals navigating the complexities of the justice system, and of advocating for meaningful change. Our foundation, Stand in the Gap, was established to fill these gaps, to be a source of hope and assistance amid challenging circumstances, and to stand resolutely for justice reform in America.

Our journey is rooted in the belief that the American justice system can and must be fair, equitable, and compassionate. As we forge ahead, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by these injustices and to working tirelessly towards a more just future.
